As we prepare for the 2025 NASL Annual Meeting in beautiful Sea Island, we’re pleased to share helpful information to ensure a smooth, enjoyable, and memorable experience for you and your guests.

This year’s event will showcase the best of the local area, including regional cuisine and authentic Southern hospitality. Whether you plan to unwind at the spa, relax poolside, or explore the area through curated excursions and activities, this meeting promises to be both enriching and engaging.

Please see the details below to help you begin planning your itinerary and complete the RSVP form to confirm activity and guest attendance. The guest fees are still being determined. We look forward to seeing you in Sea Island!

Sunday September 7th
2:00-5:00pm – Lanyard and welcome bag pickup at Black Banks Terrace
4:00-5:30pm – Explorer Boat Cruise (limited capacity, please let us know on the RSVP form if you would like to attend)
5:30-6:30pm – Welcome Reception at Black Banks Terrace
7:00pm – Regional Dinners off-site on St. Simons Island

Monday September 8th
7:30am-3:30pm – Day 1 Meeting
5:30pm – Reception & Dinner at The Ocean Room
6:30pm – Group Picture

Tuesday September 9th
7:30am-12:00pm – Day 2 Meeting
** Meeting on Day 2 is ending early so members can have more free time to enjoy Sea Island**
6:00pm – Reception & Dinner at Rainbow Island

Travel information into Sea Island: The resort is a one-hour drive from Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) and an hour-and-15-minute drive from Savannah International Airport (SAV). Additionally, it is a twenty-minute drive from Brunswick Golden Isles Airport (BQK), serviced by Delta Airlines. If you would like to coordinate transportation from Sea Island Resort, information and rates can be found here.

Activities: There are a wide range of activities at the resort and surrounding areas for you to enjoy. We have created an activity guide summarizing our suggestions. We recommend booking as soon as you know your travel plans or reaching out to the Cloister concierge at 912-638-5377 for more information on reservations.

Childcare & Resort Kids Camp: We have included information in the activity guide about a local childcare company, Sitters by the Shore. They are the premier sitter referral service in St. Simons Island, GA. More information can be found on their website. The Cloister also offers a kids day camp filled with fun activities around the resort. More information on timing and pricing can be found on the resort website.

Transportation: We are looking into providing transportation to the regional dinners on Sunday evening. Uber/ Lyft is also available in the area.

Guest Info: Please fill out the RSVP form, including guest attendance at the dinners. This will ensure we have an accurate headcount for the meeting. The cost of guests is still being determined.

Check-in & Check-out times:
Check-in time begins at 4 p.m. and most rooms will be ready. You are welcome to use the amenities of the resort until your room is available.

Check-out time is 12 p.m. (10 a.m. for Cottages). After checking out of your room or cottage, feel free to continue enjoying all the amenities and experiences at Sea Island for the remainder of the day.

Parking On Site:
Valet parking is available to all overnight guests for a charge of $30 per night. Valet parking is required for guests staying in The Cloister Main Building or Wings.

Self-parking is available to overnight guests staying at The Lodge, in the Beach Club, or The Cloister Ocean Residences, for a charge of $25 per night.

On behalf of the NASL team, we are excited to see you at the 2023 Annual Meeting from September 10-12 at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island!

Please complete your registration form here. The password is NASL2023. We’ve included the agenda for your planning purposes. Additional details about the schedule, event locations, sessions, and speakers will be available on the online portal and app. You will receive an email invitation from Sched on August 18 to create a profile. You can also download Sched in the app store.

Hotel Information

Travel Information

Mackinac Island Ferry Company and Shepler’s Ferry Company operate the ferries. You can purchase tickets ahead online or at the ticket booth. For a group rate discount, use the code NASL2023Arrival and departure times typically run between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 pm.
