NASL member firm Third Reading Consulting Group provided an important weekly update ahead of the 2024 election season.
The one-week-long petition filing period ended on Monday at 5:00 PM. With Illinois’ primary election coming up on March 19, 35 General Assembly races (7 Senate and 28 House) will have a competitive primary election. A variety of candidates across the political spectrum are facing primary challenges leading up to the November 5 general election. Campaigns have until Monday, December 11 to file petition challenges. Below is a list of General Assembly primary races.
