Brendan Ringlever, vice president of Michigan Legislative Consultants (MLC), has once again been voted Michigan’s #1 ranked multi-client lobbyist in the 2025 MIRS/EPIC-MRA Insider Survey. In addition, MLC earned the second-place spot as the state’s top-ranked multi-client firm, making the most significant rise in firm rankings. More than 600 Lansing insiders, including lawmakers, legislative staffers, and lobbyists, voted in this year’s survey.

Firm president, Tim Ward, said, “I’m very excited for Brendan and his repeat win. His process expertise is surpassed only by his respect for the legislators whose job it is to make policy decisions, and the staffers who support them. Plus, he’s a fun guy to spend time with, and that means a lot in this business.”

Ward went on to say, “I’m extremely proud of our strong showing in the firm category. It reflects our team’s – both lobbyist and operations – ‘infinite mind’ approach to what we do. Unlike an athletic contest, our business is never over, so we are about continuous improvement, as individuals and as a team. Our approach may help explain the survey results.”

MIRS is Michigan’s oldest daily Capitol newsletter. The company began in 1961 during the state’s last Constitutional Convention (Con Con) to allow lobbyists to track both the proceedings of the Con Con and the state’s Legislature.
